On Friday, December 9th, the Drexel School of Public Health hosted a panel discussion on the continuing aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. "Navigating a Hurricane of Health Disparities: A Discussion on the Response by Public Health and Other Officials to Hurricane Katrina and its Aftermath" was held in Geary Room A, in the New College Building of the Center City campus, from 10 AM to Noon. The keynote speaker was Cheryl Taylor, RN, PhD, Director of the Office of Research and Associate Professor at Southern University Agricultural & Mechanical College School of Nursing in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
