Prof. Frank on IOM "Gulf War Syndrome" Panel
Professor Arthur L. Frank, MD, PhD, Chair of the Department of Environmental and Occupational Health, was a member of the Institute of Medicine committee which recently issued "A Review of the Medical Literature Relative to the Gulf War Veterans' Health." The review concluded that "[t]he unexplained symptoms that afflict thousands of Persian Gulf war veterans do not constitute a single illness."
