Associate Professor Longjian Liu, Dept. of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, traveled to Japan in mid-October to present at two major symposia: the International Society of Hypertension (ISH) meetings on October 15th-19th, at Fukuoka, and the ISH Satellite Symposium on October 21-22 at Nishinomiya.
Prof. Liu is one of the lead investigators for the World Health Organization's Cardiovascular Disease and Alimentary Comparison Study, an international cooperative study on diet and primary prevention of cardiovascular disease.
