Prof. Lum Named "Outstanding Online Instructor"

Asst. Professor Raymond Lum, MPhil, MS, Dept. of Health Management and Policy, was named one of Drexel University's "Outstanding Online Instructors" in an awards ceremony held on November 10 at the Bossone Auditorium, Drexel Main Campus, as part of National Distance Learning Week (November 10-14, 2008), sponsored by the United States Distance Learning Association.

The ceremony included a keynote address from Pennsylvania Governor Edward Rendell, and presentation of the NDLW National Leadership Award to First Lady Laura Bush. A letter of acceptance from Mrs. Bush was read by Drexel University President Dr. Constantine Papadakis. Click here for more information about the event.

Prof. Lum later sat on a panel discussion with four other award-winning Drexel faculty on November 14, as part of Drexel IRT's Faculty Technology Showcase.
