On Tuesday, June 2, Drexel's Witnesses to Hunger program held a panel discussion and policy briefing in the US Capital Building in Washington, DC, under the auspices of the Children's HealthWatch organization.
Opening remarks were given by Pennsylvania Representative Chaka Fattah, and panelists included:

- Quiana Harris, Witnesses Participant
- Ashley Ortiz, Witnesses Participant
- Erica Smalley, Witnesses Participant
- Elizabeth March (Moderator), Executive Director, Children's HealthWatch
