Planning for the Creation of a National Organization to Address Racial and Ethnic Disparities in Health and Improve Cultural Competence in Health Care

The Center for Health Equality at Drexel University’s School of Public Health has received support from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation to assess the feasibility and value of creating a new national organization whose mission would be to reduce racial and ethnic disparities and improve cultural competence in health care. As part of the assessment, CHE is conducting a survey of professionals in the field, like yourself, to elicit feedback on the proposed mission and core activities of this initiative.  The survey is entirely confidential and takes about 10 minutes to complete.  We request that you respond by March 15, 2007.  We thank you in advance for your response. Your feedback will be invaluable for guiding us in making our assessment and in determining the work you feel is important.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Nadia Siddiqui at nadiajs@drexel.edu
