Mary Ellen Cook, MPP, is a Health Policy Analyst and grant manager at the Center for Health Equality, and assists in conducting research and evaluation of policies and programs targeting racial and ethnic minority populations and their health care. She currently serves as a Project Manager on the Center’s Regional Quality Strategy, funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, which provides analysis of hospital quality indicators and nursing indicators on several regions nationally. Ms. Cook holds a Master of Public Policy in Health Care Policy from the Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Political Science from Douglass College at Rutgers University. Prior to joining the Center, Ms. Cook worked as a Research Analyst at the Rutgers Center for State Health Policy, focusing on hospital quality and minority health issues for the state of New Jersey.
